The dimension-hopping, space-frolicking, god-bashing good time returns for part two of the all-new Rick and Morty cash grab--err . . . ongoing series from Alex Firer, Fred C. Stresing, and Marc Ellerby!
After Rick and Morty averted near catastrophic destruction on Earth at the hands of hyper tech bro Glug Vronsky, an even bigger, more annoying problem emerges. Nunzumel and a slew of weird gods have escaped from Anti Hala, unleashing a cavalcade of destruction and mayhem as they attempt to take over the world. Meanwhile, Morty's on-again, off-again girlfriend, Noelle, has been imbued with godlike powers, the Goldenfold's quest for mathematical perfection remains unyielding, and Rick teams up with his once-soul-eating foe, Vultureperson. All of this sick chaos culminates in a race to a desolate planet on the far edge of the universe. And with it lies hope for a new beginning . . . and the last remaining space milkshake! Love vs. worship! Math vs. science! The gods vs. stinky man! Is this the end of Rick and Morty?! Or the end of the beginning?!?Author Biography
Alex Firer's only skill is watching cartoons so thank goodness he got to do this book celebrating one of them. He's an LA-based writer whose comics credits include Diablo for Blizzard and a lot of Rick and Morty. Too much some may say. Not him though. He'll keep working in the Morty mines. Shoveling burps for Rick. Anyway other credits include McSweeneys and The Onion and uhh I don't know. He used to professionally pretend to be a robot and had to go to the Super Bowl. Is that anything?
Fred C. Stresing is a comic book writer, artist, and colorist who has been working professionally for 10-plus years in the industry. His comics include such titles as Invader ZIM, Rick and Morty, Adventure Time, Rick and Morty: Meeseeks P.I, and many, many more. He loves sci-fi, comedy, old movies, and relaxing at home with his wife and their two cats in upstate New York. Andrew Dalhouse is a comic book color artist with more than 17 years of industry experience. Andrew's love of coloring comics started at a young age and 30 years later he's still love. Andrew has worked on titles such as Teen Titans, Flash, Titans, Justice League, Bloodshot, Ninjak, Aggretsuko, and now Rick and Morty. Christopher Crank (crank!) has lettered a bunch of books put out by Image, Dark Horse, Oni Press, Dynamite, and elsewhere. He also has a podcast with comic artist Mike Norton and members of Four Star Studios in Chicago (crankcast.com), and makes music (sonomorti.bandcamp.com).
